Windows 2000 AD Servers

Servers Menu

This menu can be obtained by selecting "Servers" in the left pane and clicking on "Action" in the menu above. The same menu combined with the View menu can be obtained by right clicking on "Servers" in the left pane. Action items with "Servers" selected:

  • Delegate Control
  • New
    • Server - Used to create a new Server.
  • All Tasks
    • Delegate Control
  • New Window from Here
  • Delete
  • Refresh
  • Export List
  • Properties
  • Help - Brings up Microsoft Help for the Microsoft Management Console (MMC)

Clicking on the "Advanced" button produces the following dialog box with the following three tabs:

Access Control Settings for Servers - Permissions Tab

Access Control Settings for Servers - Auditing Tab

Access Control Settings for Servers - Owner Tab

The Server Menu

This menu can be obtained by selecting the server "PII450" in the left pane and clicking on "Action" in the menu above. The same menu combined with the View menu can be obtained by right clicking on the server "PII450" in the left pane. Action items with the server "PII450" selected:

  • Move
  • All Tasks
    • Move
  • New Window from Here
  • Delete
  • Rename
  • Refresh
  • Export List
  • Properties
  • Help - Brings up Microsoft Help for the Microsoft Management Console (MMC)

Clicking on the server and selecting "Properties" displays the following menu:
