How to Join
There are no forms to fill out to apply. Just click on the above link to go to the mail group sign up web page for this project. Sign up to become a part of the group, the moderator will approve you, and you will receive e-mails about group activities. To become a contributing member, volunteer some documentation or programs to the project or qualify as a contributing member as outlined on the policies page. Information on potential projects is posted on the page of the website and described in group e-mails. Feel free to propose projects or ideas not mentioned on the web site or in the group. When working on projects we would like you to report that you are volunteering for a project and describe its scope so activities may be coordinated to avoid duplication of effort. There may be someone who is interested in working with you on a project if you are interested. We also accept original articles and even editorials about technical issues for the website. If you have written some of these, it may qualify you as a contributing member. Once you are a contributing member you have full access to any information or programs for sale that are developed in and for the Computer Technology Documentation Project.
