IBM BIOS beep codes
The IBM beep codes consist of
short and long beeps, similar to the Award BIOS codes although the IBM
codes are a lot more descriptive.

Macintosh Start-up tones
Modern Macs beep when
they fail there POST, the beeps will depend on the model but here are the
standard codes.
