Applications

Java applications do not require a web browser to run as Java applets do. They run by themselves. The Java application starts running at a main() method as in the following example application:

class MyApplication
{
   public static void main(String args[]) //Constructor
   {
      System.out.println("This is an Application Program");
   }
}
