Members may perform the following functions:

• Submit Links
• Rate Links
• Rate Documentation
• Send group E-mail postings to members.
• Receive Newsletter
• Express Documentation Preferences
• Participate in the Forum
• Create Documentation
• Participate in polls

Members will get points for rating links or documentation, expressing documentation preferences, participating in the forum, and creating documentation. Members that create documentation will get points every time another member rates their documentation.

Higher level members will be able to create sections, approve link submissions, and approve documentation and changes to documentation.

Current Status of the Members Area

Working Functions

• Links may be added by members.
• Links and documentation may be rated by members
• The Forum is working and thread archiving is still being tested.

Functions Being Tested

• Documentation may be created by members - Although this function is working, more testing will be done, and documentation about how to use this function will be provided.
• The group E-mail posting function is still being tested.
• The newsletter is being tested since a database change was made to it.

Functions to be Implemented

• The documentation preferences section is not yet implemented.
• The ability to create polls is not yet implemented.
