Submission of X rated, adult only sites, gambling, hate oriented sites, profanity, or prejudiced material or sites is not accepted. Material posted on this site must be appropriate to the theme of the site and not include unsolicited advertising that does not provide valuable technical information, tools, or material. Material Ownership

Ownership of the following types of items shall be as follows:

  1. Manuals, guides, books, and computer programs submitted to the Computer Technology Documentation Project website which are of a larger and more complex nature shall be considered copyright of the creator and not a part of the public domain unless specified otherwise by the author. This does not mean that if the author chooses not to charge the public for this item, that it is part of the public domain. The author must inform the Computer Technology Documentation Project webmaster at the time of submission whether the item is to be part of the public domain. If no specification is made, it is assumed to be part of the public domain.
  2. Articles, editorials, graphics images along with other minor items normally posted freely on the Computer Technology Documentation Project website shall be considered to be copyright of the creator or author. However, unless designated otherwise at the time of submission to the Computer Technology Documentation Project website, these items shall be considered part of the \"public domain\" and shall not be required to be withdrawn from the Computer Technology Documentation Project website for any reason.
  3. Minor submitted materials such as submitted links, postings to forums, newsletter articles, and postings through group e-mail will be considered property of the Computer Technology Documentation Project.

The definition of "public domain" means open for free use by the general public. However certain copyright laws may still apply in some instances. I am not a lawyer, so I cannot specify exact details.

The Computer Technology Documentation Project will NOT release submitted manuals, guides, books, and computer programs for use by third parties other than through this website or advertise on these submitted pages without permission of the author so long as the author lives.
