Stampede Linux (Rate)

According to their website, this distribution of Linux is created from scratch. Also this may be a non-commercial distribution. It merits checking out.

Turbo Linux (Rate)

Their website states that "Turbolinux is the leading supplier of the Linux operating system in Asia Pacific."

Slackware Linux (Rate)

This is an excellent distribution of Linux. It is one of the oldest distributions of Linux. I believe this distribution of Linux is definitely worth using and checking out. I believe it is an excellent choice and is near the top of my list.

Mandrake Linux (Rate)

I believe this distribution of Linux is "cloned" from Redhat. There may be advantages or disadvantages to this. I will probably address this issue in the editorials section.

Redhat Linux (Rate)

This is an excellent version of Linux. It is one of the oldest commercial versions of Linux. Redhat Linux is an excellent choice both as a server, desktop and learning tool.

SuSE Linux (Rate)

This Linux version is very popular in Europe. Some users of SuSE Linux can be very partial to this distribution. I believe this distribution of Linux is worth using and checking out.

Debian Linux (Rate)

This also is one of the oldest distributions of Linux. This distribution of Linux is not commercial and is distributed by an all volunteer organization. Debian has several useful tools and features that may not be found in other versions of Linux.
