Microsoft Exchange 2000 First Storage Group

The First Storage Group Properties Dialog Box with the two tabs as shown below can be displayed by right clicking on "First Storage Group" under the server name, "Servers" and selecting "Properties".

First Storage Group Properties General

This dialog box shows where the Exchange database files are stored and allows these file locations to be changed. Database files are stored in streaming database (.stm), and rich text database files (.edb).

Transaction Log files and backups - circular logging is off by default. Files in c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\Exx.log and :\program files\exchsrvr\secondstoragegroupname\Exx.log.
