When setting diagnostic logging, it should be noted that the maximum setting should only be used when instructed to do so by Microsoft staff during system debugging. This is because setting maximum logging will tend to bog down the server due to tha amount of information logged with that setting. Events in Microsoft Exchange are given event levels of 0, 1, 3, or 5. Level 0 only includes system or application failures. Logging levels will log event levels as follows:


















This tab shows the designated resources or Windows 2000 services that are being monitored. You can also add or remove resources or services at this dialog box or in the "Tools" section.

This dialog box shows the six resources that the server monitor can monitor.
