Creating a New Scope

Select the server and select "New Scope".

Scope Name

IP Address Range

Add Exclusions

Lease Duration

DHCP Options

Default Gateway

Domain Name and DNS Servers

WINS Servers

Activate Scope

Finish

Scope Options

At this point the DHCP server must be authorized i Active directory. This can be done by right clicking on the server and selecting "Authorize".

Right clicking on Scope produces the following options:
